The Elderly Waiver (EW) is for adults ages 65 and over, who wish to live in their own home rather than in a nursing facility. If you are eligible, Elderly Waiver pays for services which support and care for you so that you can continue living in your home. These services are referred to as home and community-based services. 

An assessment will identify your individual needs and, together with the assessor and case manager, you will develop a plan to meet those needs. The services that you receive will be based on the plan.

* Extended home health service aide 
* Extended personal care assistance
* Extended home care nursing, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Registered Nurse (RN)
* Family adult day services 
* Home delivered meals 
* Homemaker services
Individual Community Living Support
* Respite care services, in home and out of home
* Specialized supplies and equipment / Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS)
* Transitional supports
* Transportation (non-medical)
